Sandopedia: Sitka Sushi

One of our earliest and still very popular sandwiches is the Sitka Sushi. Named after Sitka Alaska where Smokehaus co-owner Lynn was raised. For many years it featured our cured gravlax. Now it boasts our first ever cold-smoked, melt-in-your-mouth Nova lox (available in the deli case). Also includes pickled ginger, cilantro, cucumber, cabbage, sesame oil & vinegar, wasabi mayo, and Sriracha on a hero roll. It's one of the most perfectly balanced and refreshing sandwiches you're likely to find. A staff favorite and one we always recommend to newcomers. "The best sandwich on the menu" according to Eric, our fearless leader.

Sandopedia: Cold Turkey

The savory-sweet Cold Turkey is nearly impossible to quit: Maple-sage smoked turkey breast cradled in a few ounces of crayo, nestled alongside mixed greens and Swiss cheese, all on stirato. Frankly, if our sandwich menu ever vexes you, the Cold Turkey is a great default. It's a sandwich that many, even among our very sandwich-spoiled staff, view as comfort food. It's the perennial, "nothing too exciting today, just the Cold Turkey." Which is not a bad thing at all. Add a Jean Jacket if you want some excitement.

Sandopedia: The Club-Mariner

A club sandwich like you’ve never seen before! An homage to the Golden Age of comic books in what may be the Golden Age of sandwiches! The Club-Mariner combines the flavor of land and sea, featuring the opulent pairing of Traditional Smoked Atlantic Salmon and crispy Smoked Pancetta, dressed with sweet hausmade quick pickles, lettuce, and a kiss of wasabi mayo on two slices of toasted white bread.

Sandopedia: Cajun Finn

Far and away our number one selling sandwich (by almost 3:1) and absolutely our most beloved creation is the Cajun Finn. Created in the very early days of the Smokehaus at the suggestion of a local music icon and named after one of the Goerdt clan. This "Minnesota spicy" creation features our cajun smoked salmon (also available in the deli case), scallion cream cheese, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini, and greens on stirato. Sandwiches of History gave it a 10/10 (with the "Jean Jacket" modification)! You can also find the recipe in our cookbook.
