It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the suspension of our nationwide shipping service. Mail order has been a pillar of our business since its conception, but a handful of factors—including costs of shipping (plus carbon footprint), strain on our production capabilities (accommodating our growing brick & mortar storefront plus nationwide orders), and just wanting to provide better service to our local and visiting customer base—have led us to first reduce our mail order season to a two-month period, and finally, now, to fully discontinue it.*
We acknowledge that, for a small but dedicated number of our patrons in the wider United States area, this change will substantially impede their ability to access the Northern Waters Smokehaus products they love. To those people: Thank you for your support over the years! It is a point of pride for us that we have such a widely-dispersed fanbase, and you truly helped grow this business into the thriving entity it has become.
Now it’s time for us to redirect our attention and resources toward providing the best experience and improving options for our in-store and regional customers.
