Sandopedia: Sitka Sushi

One of our earliest and still very popular sandwiches is the Sitka Sushi. Named after Sitka Alaska where Smokehaus co-owner Lynn was raised. For many years it featured our cured gravlax. Now it boasts our first ever cold-smoked, melt-in-your-mouth Nova lox (available in the deli case). Also includes pickled ginger, cilantro, cucumber, cabbage, sesame oil & vinegar, wasabi mayo, and Sriracha on a hero roll. It's one of the most perfectly balanced and refreshing sandwiches you're likely to find. A staff favorite and one we always recommend to newcomers. Smoked Duck Peruvian Salad

Today is a momentous day here at the Smokehaus. We’ve just added four all new plates to our already bursting sandwich menu! These plates are a bit more of a fine dining experience, but without any added fussiness. This is something we’ve been talking about doing since before we reopened in our new location and we are so looking forward to hearing what you think of them.

Smoked Duck Peruvian Salad (above) — Warmed and sliced smoked duck breast over a bed of roasted potatoes, cabbage, and greens, dressed with a Hausmade Peruvian-style green dressing.

Country Pâté Plate

Country Pâté Plate — Two hearty slices of our Country Pâté served with a toasted and sliced semi-baguette, cornichon pickles, chopped red onion, and put Hausmade mustard.

Tinned Fish Plate

Tinned Fish Plate — Luças tinned sardines garnished with pickled red onion, served with Quince & Apple preserves, potato chips, and a dollop of Hausmade scallion cream cheese!

German Sausage Plate

German Sausage Plate — Heated and sliced Hausmade classic German sausage, served with buttered toast, Hausmade potato salad and sauerkraut, sides of Hausmade Russian dressing and mustard, and garnished with cornichon pickles.
