A regional favorite, we are sharing the subtle strength of our Black Pepper and Coriander recipe in spades with this offering and proclaim it a statement on reserved splendor (like the Grant Wood painting). Black pepper and coriander is a marvelous duo of dark and lemony spices that compliments the luscious taste of smoked salmon. This salmon doesn’t require much for accouterments when served, but any creamy or aged cheese will make its flavor profile more prominent. This salmon also lends itself to be a fantastic fresh main ingredient for pastas with some rough cut parsley, lemon juice, and dry white wine or as a protein surprise in your favorite curry recipe. Or, if you’re on the farm, serve it by candlelight with crusty bread and a glass of milk.
