Description

Made with a collar-butt cut of Minnesota-raised Berkshire pork, we make our Porketta with plenty of fresh garlic, fresh flat-leaf parsley, red pepper flakes, and fennel, then roll it, tie it, and smoke-roast it to tender perfection. We use it in the deli cold-cut style for our Big Dipper sandwich, but it is terrific served whole as a roast. Read about heating instructions on our blog. This beautiful smoked meat was also featured in Bon Appetit’s 6 Stunning Mail Order Gifts That Won’t Reveal You Can’t Cook.

Delicious! Everyone loved it. So tender and full of flavor. Would definitely order again. I roasted it with baby potatoes and Brussels sprouts and a little chicken broth, and the vegetables were outstanding as well.

Coming from the Iron Range, this is by far the best porketta I have ever tasted. It is a bit spendy, but worth every dime. The pastrami is also very good!

Thanks, Roxanne! This is a HIGH compliment coming from the Iron Range, home of some of the finest porketta in the US. We put alot of TLC in our Porketta, and we’re glad it pays off in flavor.
